Our Practice Philosophy
My job as a veterinarian is to help keep your pets healthy throughout their lives. The formula is not difficult:

First: Cats need a proper diet. Leaner animals live longer lives with fewer illnesses. They need good nutrition for energy and vigor.

Second: Good veterinary care emphasizes prevention of common diseases. I will keep you informed of necessary and recommended immunizations for your animal and I can offer you options for parasite control. Prevention is so much easier for you and your pet than correction when problems which occur. Which is why there is a third step in my formula!

Third: Keeping your cat's mouth clean contributes to your animal's overall health. I will introduce you to home plaque and tartar control (yes! Your pet does need to have his teeth brushed on a regular basis) and can schedule your animal for regular professional teeth cleaning and dental care.

I am especially interested in senior care. We can expect our pets to live 13 to 20+ years.

I have enjoyed long years my own pets and take pride in the healthy lives that they led: Sarah, my Labrador Retriever lived more than 17 years and two of my cats, Sandy and Owena, lived over 15 years.

All of my pets have received the best veterinary care possible and I will offer that same level of care for your animals. When I treat your pets as if they were my own, I know that I have offered you the best that I have.
